CAROL MARINE'S PAINTING A DAY   9/6/15  "Don't Eat the Mushrooms" - 6x6in. - click to bid This is a study of a spot about 40 minutes (hiking uphill) from our base camp (in the Sierra's). There was something about the minerals in the water (just below a glacier?) that made the rocks under water this lovely red color, and the sediment at the bottom a kind of turquoise. Such a fun study in compliments!
