| This is my very first painting for 2013 (not counting demos at my last workshop)!! I didn't mention it but I hit a wall at the beginning of December. I was out of ideas and completely uninspired. I announced to my family at Christmas that I was going to find a new career. But time passed and I realized I had just gotten seriously burnt out and needed to fill up my well again. My new years resolution is to only paint when I feel like it (I know I've said this before, but I never meant it because it sounded like a spoiled princess thing to say and I was not that). This time I realize I must do it for my own sanity, so I mean it. Really.
By the way, thank you all for your ideas re: monitor callibration. I ended up with the Spyder 4 and it was totally worth it. -Carol |
