I've been taking advantage of the last bit of fall here. These are some leaves I collected on the walk to my son's bus stop in the morning. I thought of the title while I was setting it up. : )
A while ago I stopped painting onions because I decided my style just made them look like odd-colored balls. But because I think we should regularly question old decisions, I had another go. And what's equally odd-ball-ish? Little red potatoes.
I thought I'd have one more go at these little potatoes before they're added to stew. Sometimes the simplest things are the hardest to paint!
