"Apple Reunion" I went for a darker palette with these last couple of paintings, which is different for me. I do really like the drama, though mixing the colors (values) is a challenge. Especially when it comes to red! For some reason I have to push myself to make the shadow values as dark as they need to be. Yours in art, Carol PS.
