I stopped at a couple of creeks along the way, so I think this actually might be part of a different creek, but I'm not sure of the name. At any rate, I LOVED playing with the colors in the water. So fun! Tomorrow I head off to Hood River, OR, for 4 days, to do some plein air painting with friends. CAROL MARINE'S PAINTING A DAY   8/30/14  "Pam Reading" - 8x8in - click to bid I've been wanting to paint more people, and while I enjoy the candid shots I get out in public, I'm never entirely happy with the poses. So I had the bright idea of hijacking one of my friends and making them pose for me. Pam graciously agreed. We spent several hours in her beautiful house, taking hundreds of photos (because who has time to pose while I paint?!). And let me tell you, I got some great ones! Not only that but she also agreed to let me paint any of her 9 grandchildren - wahoo! So here's my first one of Pam. I spotted this particular one in the parking lot of my son's school, on a wet, overcast day, uhhh ... like last year or something. I love having tons of pictures to choose from at any given time. Speaking of, today I drove to Sweet Creek and took tons of pictures of rocks and water and reflections and stuff.
